Texture is so fun to work with! Not all of our natural elements will be exposed this month, but we may have bark, stone or interesting architectural finishes close at hand.  If the weather is not great for being outdoors with our cameras, this month’s challenge can easily be done indoors. Get creative with fabric, paper, food, sewing essentials or even the shiny coat on the cat!  Textured surfaces also make surprising backdrops for portraits.  This is a good month to practice with lighting a subject or maybe spend time on changing settings to create different results on your portrayal of texture.
