The composition of an image can be an intimidating and daunting problem for the photographic beginner as it can seem to be so nebulous.
Despite it seeming to be so subjective, good composition is well rooted in the geometry of the natural world. There are concrete geometric techniques that we can use that take the mystery out of composition.
We live with this geometry in our own bodies, so without knowing it we already know it. The challenge is to take this innate knowledge and give it life in our images. In this presentation, we’ll look at how we can use this geometry in the composition of our images.
